MISSION STATEMENT:
"We The People" are dedicated to defend, support and work to restore the principles and values of the Constitution, individual liberty and limited government on which the United States of America was founded.
The Tea party of Michiana Action Coalition is dedicated to educate its members, and encourage activism and advocacy, by endorsing candidates for public office. We further seek to work directly, as each of us is able, on specific candidates campaigns for election.By carefully, thoroughly, and thoughtfully scoring candidates first, we endeavor to find those candidates that reflect our wishes of a return to: God's moral compass in all we do in our daily lives, a return to constitutional fidelity, founding principles, limited government, individual freedoms and responsibility, free enterprise/free markets, self directed charity, the goodness of America, all with strong support to our military. Our uniquely American government was formed by our forefathers to be wholly participatory by all citizens, and citizen/voter led. We the people therefore administer over our elected and appointed representatives; they work for us, and vote our will, not the other way around. We have a responsibilty consequently, to be daily engaged in our governance. We dedicate ourselves to these stated values. We welcome your engagement to our cause.Sincerely, Peter Recchio / T-MAC co-founderAdditional Co-founders Susan Chilberg / Bob Moore / Nancy Pletcher

We were established in September 2009 and operated as a Chapter of We the People Michiana 9-12 Project. They became a 527 Corporation in December so we decided to pursue our own identity and focus our mission in St. Joe County. We are delighted to serve our county and have education & training opportunities that are valuable to our members from Michigan, Marshall, LaPorte, Elkhart counties and beyond. If you love Glenn Beck we use his principles, values and his daily teachings on his radio and TV shows.
Our mission is to foster and support great American values and the exceptionalism that makes our nation unique in all the world. Anyone who is not a progressive will feel comfortable with our patriots. Progressives who are searching for a "12 step" program to eliminate the pain of your convictions will be taught how to move from the "dark side".

I just recently moved to South Bend and I did what I always do when I've just moved - I looked for a book club! But I couldn't find one. It seemed like the only groups in South Bend are Tea Party or Patriot groups of some kind, which didn't seem like a good way to meet like-minded people! So I have set up this book club for all liberal-minded people in their 20s and 30s. I hope it's just what you have been looking for! Yes, we should read books and discuss them...but the group is also a way to meet people, socialize, drink, eat and be merry.
The South Bend Software Craftsmanship group meets regularly to uphold and proliferate the values of the Software Craftsmanship Manifesto:
Not only working software, but also well-crafted software
Not only responding to change, but also steadily adding value
Not only individuals and interactions, but also a community of professionals
Not only customer collaboration, but also productive partnerships
If you are interested in connecting with and learning from other like-minded software artisans in the South Bend area, please sign up and join us at our next meetup.
The Viking Ski Club was started in 1973 by a small group of of Elkhart area residents to promote skiing. Since that time we have enjoyed ski outings locally, at major western US resorts, and European resorts. We also promote year round events such as bike rides, canoe trips, bowling, casino trips, picnics, and more.
We have evolved into a social club for active people of any age. If you like to ski or snowboard, and enjoy other activities, check us out. Check our About page to find out more about area skiing. We have members from all over the Michiana area, including Elkhart, South Bend, Niles, Goshen, Edwardsburg and more.
We started with stimulus opposition, went public at the tea parties and grew strong at the townhalls.
We intend to educate, promote and enable public awareness of our constitutional republican government and the dangers it faces.
To this end we study relevant books, organize protests, marches and rallies, study and publicize the constitutional perspective on current events, promote advocacy of our principles in both local and national media and become actively engaged in the political arena.
Organization Description
The New Carlisle Area Tea Party movement is a non-partisan grassroots organization of individuals united by our core values derived from the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States of America, and the Bill Of Rights as explained in the Federalist Papers.
We are a movement that recognizes and supports the idea that the United States is a republic conceived by our Forefathers as a nation whose people are granted "unalienable rights" by our Creator. Foremost among these are the rights to "life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
To ensure that these core values are obtained, we unite and exercise any power available to us to effect the election of local, state, and federal candidates who espouse these core values. To aid in this goal, we support the increase of voter participation and voter awareness of all candidates and issues through the strength of grassroots activism and civic responsibility at a local level.
To sustain these core values, we believe in the education of the public and promoting the principles of fiscal responsibility, accountable representation, constitutionally limited government, the elimination of excessive government spending and taxation, and the increase of personal freedom.
Mission Statement
We, the New Carlisle Area Tea Party, are a non-partisan grassroots organization of individuals that recognizes and supports the idea that the United States of America is a republic. We will unify and exercise any power available to us to reattach the chains of responsibility to any candidate that is elected to a local, state, or federal office to ensure that the United States of America remains a true republic.

He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.

I've seen a few local social groups on meetup but none seem to be aimed at the 40s-50s age group so I thought I would start my own. The goal is simply enjoying the company of others for fun and friendship! Ideas for meetups include dinner, movies, travel, theater, charity work - the possibilities are endless and suggestions will be welcome.

MLPG is a guild for producers, growers, localvores and associate organizations that share the vision of a strong local food shed and economy. A strong local food shed is important and the ripple effect bring many benefits including providing jobs, injecting the local economy with capital and supporting small independent growers and producers while they supply wholesome minimally processed clean food to you and your families.
The vision is to provide a spring board for the creativity of individuals in creating our own self sufficient network and structure for locally produced foods.
WE are the ones we have been waiting for, an excerpt from The Book of Hopi. These profound words bring hope to a society that is searching for the answer on the outside. The answer must come from us, the people who live here. The answer must come from within. Each community will create a network and connect with other communities creating a regional structure for locally grown and produced foods.
Imagine..............
an abundant food cottage industry that supplies clean reliable food
a thriving local economy that empowers the individual and families a wholesome agrarian lifestyle by providing clean food.
Young adults choosing farming and food production as a vocation that will provide for them and their families.
our community having multiple clean food sources, hundreds of neighborhood gardens and every household has some kind of garden supplying fresh nutritious produce and herbs.
soup kitchens, church food pantries and food distribution organizations having plenty of food or better yet not having any patrons to serve because the need no longer exists.
our community unleashing creativity to provide solutions to transform the lives of each person living here.
WE have many issues and these issues are not going to be solved by any one person or poohba. They will be solved by the ideas and creativity of the many people living here, these ideas will then coalesce giving us a greater more meaningful food system with all the ripple effects.
Each of us has our 'thing' we are interested and they differ greatly including the degree. MLPG proposes a loosely structured venue of the Meetup website to merge, share ideas, resources, network and get the ball rolling. Then each person takes it to the streets, business, neighborhoods and implements by training, sharing and networking with like minded individuals.
In the following days, weeks and months you will see the resources building up in these pages and people stepping up to the task. This is an experiment that I truly hope will work but I do not know that for certain. WE each have a piece of the puzzle lets work to put that puzzle together.
